I Just Want to Be Me

I just want to be me.
That may mean I won't be as famous as that actress on T.V.
I just want to be myself.
Even if that means I may never have huge wealth.

I'm trying to become who I want to be.
Maybe I won't be that beautiful girl that people want to see.
I'm someone that is trying to be found.
By society's value I won't be bound.

I've got to hang on.
People may mock me and say it won't lasst long.
I've finally found me.
I know now the person I want to be.
